Porn, Sex and Twitter -NSFW

Let’s talk about porn, sex and Twitter. Why? Because Twitter has a porn problem.

It is important to note that I don’t have a problem per se with porn (big fan of Pornhub here), or any adult job as long as (and I can’t stress this enough), is consented between two or more adults and nobody is forced and/or coerced into it against his or her will.

Here are but a few examples of Twitter’s porn problem. But there are plenty more.

(Don’t go harassing any of those accounts. There are thousands like them, and this is just for the purpose of making a point).

The problem that I see here is not porn per se. Again, I have no problem with porn and/or the adult industry in its many forms and variations.

The problem that I see is the  age of registration. Twitter, like many other social networks (Tumblr, Facebook, etc), have set their minimum age of registration at thirteen years old. I do not know whether there is a legislation for it, or simply a random number they have picked for their sites.

You can argue, and you would be almost correct, that Twitter can put algorithms in places to prevent those underage accounts from finding porn. However, there are two things to consider: First of all, Twitter has a proven track record of not expressing any concern for the welfare of its users. Sometimes a threat or abuse is reported, and they won’t do anything about it at all, or if they do, it might take them several days to take actions. By which time, the damage done might be irreversible  (i.e bullying). There are hundreds of examples where people have been bullied to the point of committing suicide. There are even thousands more examples in which death threats have been issued against individuals, children, whole families and even associations, and yet Twitter has seen ‘nothing wrong’ and failed to either remove the offended tweets or terminate the accounts altogether.

Secondly, even if you did put algorithms in place to stop children finding pornography, you can’t prevent them from aimlessly clicking through profiles and finding a wealth of very questionable and disturbing content.

I do not know how legal or illegal is to supply a child with pornography. I guess the laws will vary according to different countries. But, even if there isn’t a law preventing that,  then there is a whole moral aspect to it all.  Kids and teens should find about sex on their own time, when they are ready for it, and among their peers (i.e people their own age, not grown adults shoving pornographic content down their faces).

Children and young adults should not be bombarded with pornography and x-rated material at an early age. You ought to teach them sex education classes from a biology perspective, i.e. reproduction, but the finer workings of it all should be discovered by them when they finally receive a call from nature.

If Twitter minimum registration age was 18 (or whatever legal age depending on country), then I would not make a fuss at all about this. Once again, I have no problem with adult content, pornography, adult jobs or any other activities pertaining to the industry. As highly controversial and debatable as the subject is, I am all pro for people’s freedom of expression in whichever form it comes (even if I disagree with it).

But, the problem, is that twitter also allows for illegal and morally questionable things like zoophilia and bestiality accounts. Zoophilia is a  paraphilia involving a sexual fixation on non-human animals. Bestiality is cross-species sexual activity between human and non-human animals. The terms are often used interchangeably, but some researchers make a distinction between the attraction (zoophilia) and the act (bestiality)

While laws might be sketchy here on certain countries, the morality of it should supersede whatever the law tells us right or wrong. What kind of sick and depraved individual has sexual intercourse with animals? Surprisingly, a lot. I will spare you what I know about the subject. And why we don’t hear animal rights activists protesting about this type of activity?

Do I think children as young as thirteen should be viewing this kind of content, either accidentally or on purpose? Well, of course not!

Unfortunately, Twitter’s rampant pornography and bestiality is not even the worst of it. What could be worst than having intercourse with animals, you might wonder? How about having sex with minors?

Twitter has a pedophile problem. Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey is fully aware of this problem and choses not to intervene. He does not suspend users who actively post child pornography images  and/or videos; and neither those that post bestiality content.

Before delving into Twitter’s pedophile problem, it is important to note something that we might have forgotten. Jack Dorsey was once a member of the Board of Directors of ‘The Walt Disney Company’.

While this in itself might not be a problem, it is interesting to note that Disney, Disneyland and other affiliates and/or subsidiaries of the company are well-known for their pedophile networks and vasts amounts of child pornography has been seized from them over the last few years.

A while back James O’Keefe went undercover and did a hit piece on Twitter; exposing how literally they keep everybody’s nudes and dick pictures, as well as every conversation you ever had (which can be used for the purpose of blackmail).

Since Twitter hosts everything that is ever posted, this in turns means that they are hosting child pornography. Teens are randy and well-known to constantly send each other naked full body pictures or just naked parts of their bodies.

Until very recently websites weren’t at all liable for hosting underage pornography.  They were prosecuted under U.S. Code § 230 for criminal activity, but rarely on 18 U.S. Code § 1591 for sex trafficking or children  or by force, fraud or coercion.

At some potting, President Donald Trump signed and amendment to ‘allow state and victims to fight online sex trafficking act,2017‘, where websites can be liable for “knowingly advertising sex trafficking…promote or facilitate the prostitution of another person…etc”

Hosting child pornography is not only illegal, but morally wrong in so many levels. For the sake of protecting the integrity of young person, I won’t add any images of them. However, Ithe main offending accounts, should you you wish to do some sleuthing on your, can easily be found under the hashtags #MAP, #NonMAP and #OpDeathEaters. Where MAP means Minor Attracted Person; and NONMAP means non-offending MAP. There are thousands of these accounts operating freely on Twitter.  All of them, of course, call themselves Non-Map. Obviously they aren’t stupid enough to say “I molest kids” because that would lead them to suspension and to the authorities knocking on their door. But, how many of them are convicted pedophiles using anonymous names to contact children as young as 13?

A lot of these accounts also use a little bear emoji to identify themselves. The reason for this is because they might refer themselves as #PedoBears or #unBEARables. However, the last hashtaga has been used so much by the ‘right-wing’ movement that the MAP and Non-MAP lovers stopped using them.

Exercise caution if you are tracking any of these accounts. Not everybody that uses a bear emoji is a pedophile. A lot of people use tons of emojis to stand out from the crowd without realizing what they mean.

In an effort to normalize pedophilia, you will hear a lot of arguments from MAP/NONMAP lovers about how ‘if you are not touching them, you are not hurting them’. They are hurting them insomuch as they are consuming underage porn, which somebody else made and did in fact hurt children in order to make it. They are hurting them by watching this because it only helps to continue the vicious circle of underground pedophilia rings. They are hurting them because they creep around them and stalk them and make them feel uncomfortable. But specially online stalking and cyber-bullying and blackmailing, can make vulnerable children do unspeakable things, sometimes even suicide.

I will not delve into the mental issues and deviations of pedophiles, since this is not the purpose of this particular article. However, do I think they should be involved with children? I don’t. There are some schools of psychology that claim this might in fact be beneficial for pedophiles, but I respectfully disagree with that view. It isn’t the first time that the scientific community has faked studies to push a particular agenda. You might want to look at David Reimer case, more commonly known within the psychology community as the John/Joan Case.

Unfortunately, there is a big grey legal are when it comes to sexual offenders being allowed to use public spaces like the Internet. This area is even grayer when it comes pedophilia and contact with children. While we are all thinking about an Internet Bill of Rights, we should consider the rights of citizens who are sexual offenders, and whether those rights should be extended to platforms that young persons can use.

If we don’t allow pedophiles to be near our children in the real world, why do we allow them to prey on them on-line under the guise of anonymity?
