Day 2: Democratic and Republican lawyers from the House Intelligence and Judiciary committees, Mr. Daniel Goldman and Mr. Stephen Castor.

The full summary of these hearings can be shortened to a two minute video by U.S Representative Eric Swalwell.

Today, and after a lot of evidence, the House Democrats have finally put forward two articles of impeachment. It is important to note that the evidence doesn’t come solely from the witnesses that testified in the hearings. Some of the hearings happened behind closed doors and other documentation was also obtained as part of the investigation such as phone records.

The two articles of impeachment center on two specific points: abuse of power and obstruction of justice.

Article 1 of Impeachment process : Abuse of Power
Article 2 of impeachment process: Obstruction of Congress

The next step of this process will be the Senate.
