Today has been an easy one. I have been shopping and ran a couple of errands this morning, but for the most part I stayed home recovering from a late night sleep and still catching up with all the world news.
I talked to my brother in Spain, and to a friend in UK. But my act of kindness wasn’t towards them but to my husband. His birthday is on the 31st of December, so I have been saving for a while to buy him a couple of very nerdy things he wants and likes.
This machine is for wood cutting, specially angles, and to do furniture and finishing on the house that he wants. He doesn’t have one of those and have been wanting it for a while.
And also this electronic repair kit because, well, he is kind of a nerd and likes this stuff and is able to always fix anything that breaks.
As always, I probably won’t wait until the 31st to give it to him because I get very excited when I buy something for somebody else and I am terrible at keeping it a surprise.
In fact, my brother told me that he has sent me a little something and should be here this Friday, and I am eagerly waiting like a kid in a candy store because he hasn’t told me what it is yet.
Also, I need to spoil my husband. If I don’t, who will? And if I don’t, chances are that other women out there will be more than willing and I don’t want to let that happen.
If you wish to post on social media, I recommend the following hashtags: #30DaysofKindness, #KindChallenge, #KindnessChallenge, #LoveOverHate, #LoveTrumpsHates, #HateIsNotWelcome, #LovePeople, #LoveIsStrong, #KindnessChallenge, #30DaysOfLove, #30Kindness, etc… These are just some suggestions. But I do hope you join me in this challenge.
