Today was a busy an entertaining day. Husband and I went shopping. We spent tons on treats for the girls, that is: the cat, the dog and the fishes. We also treated ourselves to a bottle of lemon Becherovka and a meal. The meal was terrible. The worst rump-steak I had in my life. Overcooked, chewy and with all the wrong spices. On the plus side, we now know where not to go for lunch.
We also went to a second-hand store and I got myself a weird lamp. It’s black and heavy, and looks like a tribal mask. The sort of spooky thing one will put up for Halloween. That’s going on my living room as soon as we are done fixing it. I am trying to get him to buy a Ouija carpet, but somehow he is not thrilled about the idea and seems to think is going to spook the neighbors.
Anyway, the second-hand store got me thinking about all the junk that I have at home that I no longer need. Specially clothes (but mostly because I put weight and no longer fit on them). So after we got home, I spent a couple of hours putting a box together of old clothes to donate. You can sell them or donate them. I choose the latter. I’ll be taking it there on Saturday.
Other than that, I am still putting food out every night for the animals. Most days is all gone. Also, keep smiling and being positive and trying not to have arguments.
Always look at the bright side of life, folks!
